On Monday, October 7, we got to see our McPherson girls soccer team played an amazing game against El Rancho. The McPherson girls took their first loss to El Rancho 2-1.

6th grader Camila Lubin said, “The other team was very good and aggressive but I’m sad we lost.” The game was closely played but in the end, El Rancho was able to keep their lead for the win.

7th grader Sage Samual said, “I think we can beat El Rancho next time. Maddie or Heidy scored a goal on Monday and all the girls were really happy.”

The team was sad to lose after being undefeated, but they are going to leave that in the past and continue working hard! McPherson finishes its season on Monday, October 14 at Santiago.
