McPherson PTSA Sponsors Angel’s Night

Owen Smith and Jaden Esparza

On Friday, May 17th, McPherson Magnet school had an Angels night. It was just a night to have some fun with some school friends while watching a baseball game. The Angels were playing against the Kansas City Royals. It was a very exciting game to watch especially because the Angels actually won!

We were able to get some interviews from a few students that went to the game and here is what they had to say. Trent Senters said, “I really just enjoyed watching the game with all of my friends and I had a good time. The coolest part of the game was when Ohtani and Trout were up to bat. I actually caught a foul ball from Albert Pujols.” The other person that we interviewed was Nirvana. Nirvana said, “I actually haven’t even been to that many Angels games but I really enjoyed going to this one. This game was really fun because I got to watch Trout hit and it was actually really cool. I also enjoyed hanging out with friends off of campus.” The last person that we interviewed was Andy Garcia. Andy said, “I enjoyed watching the game with my friends. I also enjoyed watching the Angels because they were really good.”

The Angels were able to come on top with a score of 5-2. The Angels are in second to the last place in the AL West. They are three games behind the Athletics. They are really hoping to turn the season around and start to get more wins this season.
