The 1st Grade Field Trip to Click-Clack-Moo

On April 10, the first graders went on a field trip to watch a play called “Click-Clack-Moo”. When we interviewed a few first graders they explained the story to us. The story goes like this:

There was once a farmer that had cows that could type. So the cows typed saying that they need an electric blanket because it is cold during the night. The Farmer wants to take the typewriter away from the cows, because the cows keep on typing and complaining so much,  so the cows made a deal which is that if the farmer provides them the electric blanket, they would give the typewriter back. The Farmer thought it was a good deal and agreed to it. The next day the cow send the ducks to give the typewriter back to the farmer and collect the electric blanket. But once the farmer gave the blanket to the ducks, the ducks decided to keep the typewriter. The next day they typed a letter saying that the ducks are very bored at the pond and they need a diving board. And the Farmer finally got tired of it. And that’s how the story goes!

The children said it was a funny play and they had fun. The first graders had lots of fun on their field trip and they were super excited about the play they watched. They are looking forward to their new year towards second grade soon and for more fun field trips!
