5th Grade Explores Griffith Observatory

Shreya Jacob and Logan Mcdonald

On Thursday, January 11th the 5th grader went on a field trip to Griffith Observatory Planetarium in Los Angeles. In there, visitors looked through telescopes, explored exhibits, saw live shows, and enjoyed the awesome views of Los Angeles including the Hollywood sign. They had a really fun time at the Observatory and loved the trip. Jason Joe said, “The field trip was very fun and my favorite part was the planetarium because it feels like we are on space and we learned about Jupiter, light pollution, and the different kinds of moons in Jupiter.” Kayla Garbiya said, “My favorite part was making the comets”.  Overall, the 5th graders had a fun time on their field trip.
